Preassembled Aluminum cable or CALPE Cable are mainly used in overhead lines low voltage, is made up of multiple aluminum conductors with XLPE cross-linked polyethylene insulation, they can be found in 2,3 and 4 conductors. Pre-assembled conductors with pure aluminum phases and a 6201 alloy messenger or neutral, XLPE cross-linked polyethylene insulation, focused on low voltage overhead distribution lines up to 1KV, to be installed on poles or attached directly to building facades, has safety standards. manufacturing ICEA-S-76-474 and ASTM B399/ASTM B398.
Consider that the pre-assembled cables are braided and not glued together.
